About Lake Conjola
Located about 2.5 hours south of Sydney, Lake Conjola is ideal for a weekend getaway or extended holiday. The iconic Milton village with its numerous restaurants is about 10 minutes drive away from Rakali Cottage. There is also abundant National Parks to explore in the Ulladulla area with fantastic coast walks.
The lake is fantastic for swimming and water sports. Whilst the area in front of Rakali Cottage is a 4 knot zone, the western end of the lake is popular for skiing and wakeboarding. Conjola Beach (unpatrolled) is about a 15 minute walk/3 minute drive away from the cottage, which is popular for beach fishing and surfing, including the well known Green Island left hander.
The lake offers endless enjoyment, including swimming, snorkelling, fishing and boating. Fish spieces include Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Mullet, Luderick and the odd Tailor and Sole.
